Future Plans

The Islamic Schools' League of America will continue to build upon and maintain all of the activities that are currently underway such as the Educator's listserves, which have been extremely valuable in drawing the Islamic educators into a closer-knit community. The League will also continue to develop existing collaborations and develop new collaborations that will benefit Islamic schools and educators.

In addition to the above, the League's future plans include:

Continuing the development of web site resources for Islamic educators and the networking of Islamic Schools
Strengthening advocacy on behalf of Islamic Schools
Organizing technical workshops to meet the needs of Islamic School prinipals, adminstrators, and teachers.
Collecting and publishing data on the status of Islamic education in North America and future trends related to Islamic education.
Facilitating the exploration of the developing Islamic education paradigm.
Developing the Islamic education certification program and extending it to include other professional development needs
Expanding the student scholarship program
