Islamic Schools Participate in Disaster Relief Efforts
Charity, giving, and community support are on-going core values that are taught in Islamic schools. Many Islamic schools had an opportunity to bring these on-going lessons to life for their students by involving them in efforts to contribute to the outpouring of help for the familes impacted by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Now with the tragic disaster in Pakistan and parts of India and Afghanistan that on-going real experience to get involved will continue in the schools.
