"Financial" support to private schools is a catch-all term that needs to be clarified. Schools receive their financial support from many sources: tuition, donations (privately solicited or resulting from fund-raising activities), services (including the
e-rate and Title programs associated with the No Child Left Behind legislation), and finally, grants (primarily from the state or federal government and private foundations or organizaitons).
